Information used

Salons use Bookings to store customer names, contact details, appointments, and service notes. Staff and business details support scheduling. Authentication is handled by Clerk through the shared BuildNerd account.

Purpose and access

Information is used to provide appointments, authorized salon operations, and requested appointment messages. Salon membership controls private data access. Booking management links grant access to that appointment; keep them private.

Messages and payment records

Appointment emails require the customer’s selected consent. Marketing consent is not collected in the booking flow. Cash and UPI payment records are recorded by the salon; Bookings does not collect card details.

Corrections and deletion

Contact your salon to correct an appointment or customer record. For account, data-access, retention, or deletion requests, contact BuildNerd through the contact form. Operational and audit records may require retention; the production retention schedule must be finalized before launch.
